⚽ Gameweek 33 Review
Gameweek 33 produced one of the strongest set of scores we have seen in a while, and it was
AN A CORSE CELTIC 🤟🤤 who came out on top with a superb
352 points. That winning total came from 4 correct 50-pointers and
2 correct 75-pointers, which gave them the edge in a week where the bigger-value calls made all the difference.
It was a brilliant card and exactly the kind of return that can turn a good season into a very dangerous one.
They were pushed all the way, though, by BANDWAGONESQUE,
who finished just one point behind on 351. That is a painful way to miss out on first,
but it was still a huge response and one of the standout performances of the week.
FREE ESTATE KENMARE followed with 327, and
TEAM NAME TAKEN posted 326, so the top end was packed with serious scores.
Just behind them came another strong block of teams who all landed the right mix of 50 and 75-point answers.
CUNHA BELEBA!?, MOORE-4-2 and
SWEEPERVISION all hit 302, while
ALLISON WONDERLAND, MANLYCHESTHAIR UTD,
BLASTERS FC, ARCTICUS,
H-N HAM FIGHTERS and FC LIVERPOOL
all reached 301. When that many teams are clustered over 300, you know it has been a high-quality Gameweek.
Even the scores just below that still reflected a solid week. CTRL ALT DE LIGT and
DYNAMO CHICKEN KIEV both landed on 300, while
PREDICTED IT ADMIN1 took 276.
Then there was another wave on 251, including DE LIGT MY BALLS,
THE DELGANY SHARKS and RATHFARNHAM RATS.
Those were respectable totals, but in a week this strong they were never going to threaten the very top.
Lower down, TK PREDICTIONS finished on 176,
SKY BLUE BLUES on 175, and
2INAROW on 151.
LEAVE MY ARSELONA had to settle for 125,
while MAXIE PADS brought up the rear on 101.
That is the harsh side of a high-scoring Gameweek — even decent calls can leave you well behind if the rest of the field really gets moving.
Overall, this was a proper pressure-week. There were big totals all over the board, plenty of movement in the side competitions,
and enough strong scores to make it feel like everyone still in the hunt is throwing punches as the season heads deeper into its run-in.

🏆 Competitions Update
|
Predicted It Cup Final – Still Wide Open
The first leg of the Predicted It Cup Final is in the books, and ARCTICUS
have the early edge after scoring 151 to THE DELGANY SHARKS on 101.
That gives ARCTICUS a 50-point lead, but with both finalists also landing a
bonus point question, this tie still feels very much alive going into the second leg in Gameweek 34.
From ARCTICUS’ point of view, it is another composed step forward in what has been a brilliant Cup run.
They came through the Last 16 strongly, then handled the knockout rounds with a mix of patience and decisive scoring bursts,
and now they have put themselves in front in the final. For a first-season player, that is seriously impressive.
But nobody will be writing off THE DELGANY SHARKS.
They have already come through two rounds by winning by a single point,
so they know better than anyone that these ties do not need to be comfortable to be won.
A 50-point gap is absolutely manageable over one Gameweek, especially for a team with their experience and knack for surviving the tight ones.
This final is still there to be taken by either side.

Super Sevens – The Race Is Taking Shape
After two weeks of the final Super Sevens, H-N HAM FIGHTERS still lead the way on 603.
That is a strong number already, and it gives them a cushion over the field, but it is not a runaway lead by any means.
FREE ESTATE KENMARE sit second on 579,
while AN A CORSE CELTIC 🤟🤤 are third on 553.
The next group is tightly packed too, with CTRL ALT DE LIGT,
ALLISON WONDERLAND and ARCTICUS all on 552.
That means one strong card could change the order very quickly.
The race is definitely starting to take shape, but with more weeks still to come, there is a lot left to play for.

Season Gauntlet – The Leader Holds, But The Chasers Are Still There
H-N HAM FIGHTERS remain top of the Season Gauntlet and now sit on 9,158.
That keeps them firmly in control for now, but the numbers behind them still matter.
ARCTICUS are second on 8,805,
which leaves the gap at 353 points,
while THE DELGANY SHARKS are third on 8,563.
It is a healthy lead, but not one that closes the door completely.
Just behind that top three, DE LIGT MY BALLS are fourth on 8,527,
only 36 points behind THE DELGANY SHARKS, while
AN A CORSE CELTIC 🤟🤤 have climbed to fifth on 8,402
after their huge Gameweek 33 win. RATHFARNHAM RATS and
CUNHA BELEBA!? are also still very much in the conversation on 8,099 and 8,097.
That upper pack is still dense enough that one more big swing could reshuffle it all over again.
The chasing group below them is still sizeable as well.
MOORE-4-2 are on 7,904,
CTRL ALT DE LIGT on 7,798,
and LEAVE MY ARSELONA and DYNAMO CHICKEN KIEV
sit on 7,703 and 7,701.
Then come TEAM NAME TAKEN, SEVILLA EURO KING,
and 2INAROW, all still close enough to keep pushing if a few results go their way.
The big picture is that H-N HAM FIGHTERS are still the team to catch,
and every week they stay in front makes that task harder for everyone else. But with ARCTICUS and THE DELGANY SHARKS
both deep in the Cup Final as well, and AN A CORSE CELTIC 🤟🤤 coming hard after that Gameweek 33 win,
the chasing pack is not gone yet. There is still enough pressure, enough points, and enough quality in the field
for the story of this Gauntlet to change again before the finish.
