Gameweek 23 questions have been posted, and the deadline, as always, is kick off of the first game, which this week is
12:30pm on Saturday 24th January.
We’re properly into the second-half grind now. If you’re chasing, this is where you start taking chunks out of the gap.
If you’re sitting pretty, it’s about staying sharp every single deadline.
⚽ Gameweek 22 Review
Gameweek 22 was the opener for the new competition run and it landed with a bang.
The headline belongs to ManlyChestHair Utd, who hit 5/6 on the 50s and posted
252 points. That’s a huge start, and it instantly puts pressure on everyone behind.
The next wave was stacked. Allison Wonderland, Sky Blue Blues and
H-N Ham Fighters all hit 202 with 4/6.
Then it got even tighter, with a massive group on 201 including
Cunha Beleba!?, De Ligt My Balls, Ctrl Alt De Ligt,
TK Predictions, 2inarow and The Mighty Duck.
One extra call goes your way and suddenly you’re right up at the top.
And it didn’t stop there. A long line landed on 151, which tells you everything.
The margins are tiny, and the table is always one good week away from being flipped.
🏆 Super Sevens & Predicted It Cup
Super Sevens: Edition 3 is live
We’re up and running in Super Sevens. This edition runs GW22 to GW28 and as always it includes both 50 and 75-point questions. Early days, but the theme is clear: start fast, avoid blanks, and keep stacking points.
Predicted It Cup: The chase is already on
The Predicted It Cup qualification has started, and remember this is 50-point predictions only.
Qualification runs from GW22 to GW26, and the top 16 teams across those Gameweeks make the knockouts.
After the first week, the cutoff line is already forming, and the teams just outside it have a really clear target.
The Delgany Sharks sit just on the edge of the current top 16 on 151,
with Arcticus and Bandwagonesque right beside them on 150.
Then you’ve got a proper scrap building underneath. Rathfarnham Rats, An A Corse Celtic 🤟🤤,
SweeperVision and Team Name Taken all opened on 101,
while Sevilla Euro King started on 100.
Four qualifying Gameweeks left means there’s loads of time, but the warning is real: another low week and the gap becomes hard work very quickly.
If you’re outside the current top 16, Gameweek 23 is the moment to strike.
Put up a big 50-point score and you can jump multiple places instantly.
📈 Season Gauntlet Update
The Season Gauntlet race is getting properly interesting now because the top end isn’t just about points,
it’s about how teams are scoring them. Right now H-N Ham Fighters lead on
6,346, and their season profile explains why they’re so hard to catch.
They’ve landed 78 correct 50s, 19 correct 75s, and 5 correct 200s
for a total of 102 correct predictions across the big categories.
Second place is Rathfarnham Rats on 5,945.
They’ve matched the leader on 200-pointers with 5, and they’ve also hit 19 correct 75s,
which is why they’re right in the title fight.
The gap to first is 401 points, and with plenty of value still to be decided, that is a gap that can move quickly.
Then it gets very tight very fast.
De Ligt My Balls are third on 5,917 and
Cunha Beleba!? are fourth on 5,916.
That’s one single point separating them.
De Ligt My Balls have been deadly on the big swings with 6 correct 200s (the 2nd highest in the game),
and 20 correct 75s, which is elite consistency on the higher value calls.
Cunha Beleba!? have stayed right beside them with 74 correct 50s and 5 correct 200s.
Fifth is The Delgany Sharks on 5,899,
and their numbers tell a story too: 73 correct 50s, 19 correct 75s, 4 correct 200s.
They’re only 46 points off second, which is nothing at this stage of the season.
Right behind them, Arcticus sit on 5,819 and have the most correct 75s in the top pack with
20. That steady drip of 75-point hits keeps them permanently dangerous.
Outside the top six, the depth is serious:
Sevilla Euro King are on 5,696 with 5 correct 200s,
An A Corse Celtic 🤟🤤 are on 5,591 with 21 correct 75s,
and 2inarow are on 5,564 with 6 correct 200s.
That’s not “hanging around”, that’s a group with proven ability to hit the big value questions.
One last stat that jumps out: Leave My Arselona have hit an incredible 22 correct 75s,
the most of anyone in the game, and they’re still top ten on points at 5,469.
If the next run of 75s fall their way again, they’re exactly the kind of team that can climb fast.
