⚽ Gameweek 17 Review

Gameweek 17 has delivered once again. This was a weekend where several pending questions finally got decided — including two big preseason 200-pointers and a boat load of 75-point outcomes — and the result was a proper leaderboard shake-up.

The headline performance belonged to An A Corse Celtic 🤟🤤, who produced a monster 353 points (4 correct 50s plus two 75s) to land the top spot. That’s the kind of week that turns a good season into a dangerous one — and it could not have come at a better time with so much value being decided.

Just behind, Rathfarnham Rats hit 302 (3×50 plus 2×75) and ManlyChestHair Utd went one point behind on 301 — and in Predicted It we know that everyone point matters! Bandwagonesque landed 300 too, meaning the top four were separated by just 53 points.

Then came another stacked wave: Prediction Prophets and Sky Blue Blues both hit 278, with Allison Wonderland just behind on 277 and Blasters FC right there on 276. When you have that many teams posting huge totals in the same week, you know it’s been a proper swing weekend.

Further down the table, you had a strong cluster around the 226–227 mark — De Ligt My Balls, The Mighty Duck, Free Estate Kenmare, 2inarow, Maxie Pads, Arcticus and H-N Ham Fighters all in and around it. And that’s before you even mention Ctrl Alt De Ligt and Moore-4-2 both hitting 202 with strong 50-point cards.

It wasn’t a fun one for everyone though. Leave My Arselona, SandraBullock FC and Cunha Beleba!? all ended up down on 102, while TK Predictions finished on 50. In a Gameweek where the top end was collecting 300+ and 275+ scores, any “quiet” week instantly becomes a noticeable loss of ground.

📊 Competition Updates

Super Sevens — Final Standings & The Champion Crowned

And that’s a wrap on Super Sevens — and what a finish. Massive congratulations to The Delgany Sharks, who didn’t just win it… they swam away with it, finishing top on 1,964 points with a ridiculous 27 correct 50s and 8 correct 75s. Ice-cold consistency across seven Gameweeks — and when the pressure rose, the Sharks didn’t blink.

The chase was properly fierce too. H-N Ham Fighters pushed them all the way to the end on 1,934, and Rathfarnham Rats finished third on 1,885 after another strong closing week. Then you’ve got Sevilla Euro King (1,837) and Leave My Arselona (1,835) right behind — which tells you everything you need to know about how tight the top of this competition was.

We’ll be in touch with The Delgany Sharks to choose their prize from:
2× Premium Mystery Football Shirt Subscription
Yeti Coffee Bundle
Chocolate Hamper
Retro Sweet Hamper
Coffee Hamper
Meat Feast Hamper
Wine and Cheese Hamper

And for everyone else — don’t worry, this isn’t the last chance to fill the trophy cabinet. We’ve got more competitions coming, more trophies to win, and more chances to land prizes. Super Sevens may be finished for now… but the season definitely isn’t.

Season Gauntlet — Huge 200-Point Swings, Race Still Wide Open

The Season Gauntlet table has taken a serious twist after those preseason 200-pointers landed. H-N Ham Fighters now lead the way on 5,013, but the pack behind them is stacked and dangerous: Rathfarnham Rats are second on 4,815, with The Delgany Sharks third on 4,718 and 2inarow right behind on 4,610.

Then it gets even tighter. Sky Blue Blues sit on 4,541, An A Corse Celtic 🤟🤤 on 4,511, and Cunha Beleba!? / Sevilla Euro King / Leave My Arselona are all within touching distance on 4,509, 4,489 and 4,488. That’s nothing in this format — one big Gameweek and the whole top ten can flip again.

The two preseason 200-point questions decided in Gameweek 17 were:

🟨 Preseason (GW0 Q22) — 200 Points (Determined GW17)
24% of all games ended as a draw in the 2024/2025 season. Will any team draw 7 or more of their opening 17 games in the 2025/2026 season?
📊 Split: Yes (57.1%)  |  No (42.9%)
✅ Correct Answer: Yes
This one was huge because the community was split — and it finally landed as a YES, handing 200 points to over half the field and instantly shaking up the top end.
🟨 Preseason (GW0 Q21) — 200 Points (Determined GW17)
Will Viktor Gyokeres, Erling Haaland, Joao Pedro, and Mo Salah all have at least 7 goals by Christmas Day?
📊 Split: Yes (35.7%)  |  No (64.3%)
✅ Correct Answer: No
Another massive swing — and with 64.3% of the community on No, a lot of players just got a huge boost at once. The kind of moment that can turn “mid-table” into “title race” overnight.

The big takeaway as we head towards the second half of the season: it’s still absolutely all to play for. The leaderboard is tight, the Christmas schedule gives everyone chances to respond quickly, and we’ve already seen how one determined question can completely reshape the table. Strap in.
