Gameweek 14 – News, GW13 Review & Competition Updates
📰 Gameweek 14 News
Gameweek 14 questions have been posted, and the deadline, as always, is kick off of the first game, which this week is 7:30pm on Tuesday 2nd December.
⚽ Gameweek 13 Review
Gameweek 13 was all about tight margins and cool heads. At the very top, we had a shared spotlight as SandraBullock FC and Dynamo Chicken Kiev both delivered outstanding 5/6 returns on the 50-pointers, banking 253 points each. Just a single point behind, De Ligt My Balls also hit five correct for 252 points, rounding off a seriously high-quality top three.
The chasing pack wasn’t far away either. I Predict Deez Tings, Rathfarnham Rats and Maxie Pads all landed strong 4/6 cards around the 200 mark, with Ctrl Alt De Ligt just behind on 201. It was one of those weeks where a single extra correct answer would have launched any of them right into the podium spots.
A little further down, there was a busy cluster of solid-but-not-spectacular scores. Sevilla Euro King led the way on 153, with Predicted It Admin1, Bandwagonesque, Moore-4-2, Sky Blue Blues, ThomastheFrankEngine, H-N Ham Fighters and The Delgany Sharks all packed into the 150–151 bracket. The Mighty Duck wasn’t far behind either, keeping themselves firmly in the conversation.
There were still valuable contributions from the 2-out-of-6 group — An A Corse Celtic, Team Name Taken, TK Predictions, Allison Wonderland and Free Estate Kenmare all hit the century mark and kept their seasons ticking along. Leave My Arselona, Blasters FC, Arcticus and SweeperVision joined them on three-figure scores too — not headline-grabbing, but enough to avoid any real damage.
At the other end, it was a tougher weekend. Cunha Beleba!?, 2inarow and ManlyChestHair Utd all had to settle for a single correct answer and 50 points. No Wooden Spoons this time, but a clear reminder of how one tricky Gameweek can suddenly open the door for rivals to close the gap. With another quick turnaround into midweek fixtures, there’s not much time to dwell on it.
📊 Competition Updates
Super Sevens — Sprint Enters the Middle Stretch (GW11 → GW17)
With three rounds played in the latest Super Sevens, The Delgany Sharks are setting the pace at the top on 708 points (14 correct 50-pointers). H-N Ham Fighters are right on their tail on 657, while Moore-4-2 sit in third on 608 after another quietly efficient week.
Behind them, the chasing pack is absolutely stacked. Dynamo Chicken Kiev and Rathfarnham Rats both cracked the 550+ mark, and there’s a tight cluster from Sevilla Euro King down to An A Corse Celtic all within a handful of points of each other. Maxie Pads, SandraBullock FC and TK Predictions have all moved themselves into contention too after strong recent rounds.
With four Gameweeks still to go in this sprint, nothing is even close to decided. One explosive midweek could easily sling someone from the edge of the top 15 straight onto the podium — so every 50-pointer from here on out really counts.
Season Gauntlet — Leaders Stretch, Pack Responds
At the top of the Season Gauntlet, Rathfarnham Rats continue to set the standard, extending their tally to 3,485 points with another strong Gameweek. H-N Ham Fighters remain the closest challengers on 3,336, refusing to let the gap get comfortable. Just behind, The Delgany Sharks stay firmly in the hunt on 3,262, while Moore-4-2 round out a very competitive top four on 3,163.
SweeperVision sit just outside that group on 3,132, with An A Corse Celtic, Dynamo Chicken Kiev and De Ligt My Balls all clustered tightly behind. Cunha Beleba!? and Leave My Arselona complete the top ten, and crucially the gap from first to tenth is still well within the swing of a couple of big questions.
Just outside the top ten, there’s movement everywhere. Team Name Taken, 2inarow, Sky Blue Blues and I Predict Deez Tings are all positioned nicely for a push, while consistent scoring from Arcticus, Blasters FC, TK Predictions, Ctrl Alt De Ligt and Free Estate Kenmare means the entire top 20 feels tightly packed rather than settled.
With plenty of Gameweeks still to play — and more big-value questions waiting later in the season — this is the point where steady, repeatable decision-making really starts to add up. One hot streak in December could easily redefine the title race.
