Gameweek 13 – News, GW12 Review & Competition Updates
📰 Gameweek 13 News
Gameweek 13 questions have been posted, and the deadline, as always, is kick off of the first game, which this week is 3:00pm on Saturday 29th November.
⚽ Gameweek 12 Review
Gameweek 12 had a bit of everything — fine margins, a few upsets, and some big point hauls thanks to one preseason question finally being settled. At the top of the weekly table, The Delgany Sharks produced a superb display, nailing five of the six 50-pointers for 253 points and claiming the week’s top spot. Just one point back, H-N Ham Fighters were equally sharp, also hitting five correct answers for 252 — proof that the fine details really matter at this stage.
Behind them, there was a tight cluster around the 200 mark: Sevilla Euro King, Rathfarnham Rats, SandraBullock FC, ManlyChestHair Utd and Blasters FC all returned strong 4/6 cards. Allison Wonderland and 2inarow were right there too, while the chasing pack from Prediction Prophets down through TK Predictions, Team Name Taken and Leave My Arselona were separated by the tiniest of margins. Even a single call made the difference between top-half and mid-table this week.
Further down, De Ligt My Balls, Hakuna Masaka and Ctrl Alt De Ligt each finished on 100, while Cunha Beleba!? and Team Name Taken had weeks to forget after a run of tough results. Still, with the next Super Sevens points just around the corner, there’s plenty of time to bounce back.
Away from the weekly scores, we also saw a another preseason question settled. Preseason Question 6 asked whether Liverpool would finish the season with exactly one home defeat — something they’d managed in each of the last 3 years. After their shock 3-0 home loss to Nottingham Forest — their second defeat at Anfield this campaign — that question was finally answered. A massive 95.2% of the community called it correctly and earned 200 points each, giving a huge boost to many season totals.
In all, GW12 was a balanced, tactical week — not many perfect cards, but lots of movement across every leaderboard and a few familiar names starting to climb again at just the right time.
📊 Competition Updates
Super Sevens — Early Leaders (GW11 → GW17)
After two rounds of the new Super Sevens, The Delgany Sharks have jumped straight into top spot on 557 points after back-to-back stellar weeks. H-N Ham Fighters sit close behind on 505, with Moore-4-2 holding third at 456. From there, it’s a crowded field — Blasters FC, FC 20 Benson & Hedges and Leave My Arselona are all hovering around the 400 mark, while Sevilla Euro King and TK Predictions round out the early top eight.
It’s still early days in this seven-week sprint, but the tone’s been set — sharp consistency is already being rewarded, and with plenty of twists to come, this leaderboard is far from settled.
Season Gauntlet — Title Race Tightens
The 200-point boost from Liverpool’s home loss had little impact on the main leaderboard. Rathfarnham Rats hold onto first on 3,283 points, but H-N Ham Fighters are breathing down their neck on 3,184. Hot on their heels, The Delgany Sharks jump into third on 3,111 after another strong showing.
Just behind, SweeperVision and Moore-4-2 round out the top five, with An A Corse Celtic, Cunha Beleba!? and Leave My Arselona all firmly in the mix. The gap from first to tenth is barely 450 points — essentially one big Gameweek away from a complete shake-up.
Looking at the total correct predictions, the stats tell their own story. H-N Ham Fighters lead the way with 54 correct predictions (45×50, 7×75, 2×200), followed by The Delgany Sharks on 51 and Rathfarnham Rats on 50. Just behind them, SweeperVision and Moore-4-2 both sit on 48. It doesn’t matter how you get the points, as long as you get them!
With a whole bunch of preseason questions still to be decided and the mid-season 100-pointers on the horizon, there’s a lot of football and a lot of points still to come. It’s anyone’s title from here.
