GW9 turned into a bit of a grind – close calls everywhere and not many perfect cards – which makes Arcticus’s effort stand out even more. Five correct 50-pointers for a composed 250 put them top of the pile and set a proper tone heading into the Super Sevens finale.
There was a neat cluster behind: 2inarow and Free Estate Kenmare both landed 200, while a long queue on 150 – including Cunha Beleba!?, Predicted It Admin1, Team Name Taken, Prediction Prophets, TK Predictions, Bandwagonesque, The Mighty Duck, Leave My Arselona, SandraBullock FC, Blasters FC, Maxie Pads, Sky Blue Blues, SweeperVision and H-N Ham Fighters – kept things honest.
Further down, a handful posted 100 – De Ligt My Balls, The Delgany Sharks, Allison Wonderland, Moore-4-2, Rathfarnham Rats, Sevilla Euro King, ManlyChestHair Utd, FC 20 Benson&Hedges and Dynamo Chicken Kiev – with a couple more on 50 after some narrow misses. It wasn’t a week for big leaps, but it certainly kept the race tight.
