Gameweek 32 – News, GW31 Review & Competition Updates
Super Sevens begins • Another huge week for MANLYCHESTHAIR UTD • Cup finalists to be decided in GW32
|
📰 Gameweek 32 News
Gameweek 32 questions have been posted, and the deadline, as always, is kick off of the first game, which this week is
8:00pm on Friday 10th April.
Gameweek 32 also marks the start of the final Super Sevens competition of the season.
That means every player, whether they have been active every week or have drifted in and out during the campaign,
has one last clean shot at a prize before the season comes to an end.
This final Super Sevens will run from Gameweek 32 right through to Gameweek 38, the last Gameweek of the season.
As always, only the 50-point and 75-point predictions count in this competition, and the winner will get to choose
from the selection of hampers listed on the Super Sevens competition page.
It is a fresh race, a level playing field, and a big opportunity for someone to finish the season with a proper flourish.

⚽ Gameweek 31 Review
There is only one place to start again, and that is with
MANLYCHESTHAIR UTD.
After hitting a Silver Gameweek in GW30, they followed it up with another massive performance in GW31,
finishing top on 350 points.
That came from 4 correct 50-point predictions and, crucially, 2 correct 75-point predictions,
which gave them the extra punch nobody else could match.
Back-to-back weeks at this level is outstanding going, and it is exactly the kind of late-season form that can change the mood of an entire campaign.
Behind them, ALLISON WONDERLAND produced one of their best returns of the season with 326 points,
landing 5 of the 50-pointers and 1 of the 75-pointers.
It was a really strong card and would have been enough to win plenty of Gameweeks,
but MANLYCHESTHAIR UTD were flying again.
AN A CORSE CELTIC 🤟🤤 took third on 276,
while FREE ESTATE KENMARE and MAXIE PADS both posted 275,
showing just how tight the battle was behind first place.
There was then another strong cluster of scores keeping the leaderboard competitive.
RATHFARNHAM RATS reached 250 with a nice balance of correct calls across the 50 and 75 point questions,
while THE DELGANY SHARKS took 226.
Just behind them, TEAM NAME TAKEN, CTRL ALT DE LIGT,
TK PREDICTIONS and SWEEPERVISION all landed on 225,
which tells you how fine the margins were across the middle of the table.
ARCTICUS and FC LIVERPOOL both finished on 201,
with MOORE-4-2 and LEAVE MY ARSELONA both on 200.
Those are still respectable totals, but this week really rewarded anyone who could turn one of the bigger calls into a correct answer.
A few teams who have been strong all season were slightly held back by that, which made the top end feel a bit different from recent weeks.
It is also worth shouting out the fact that two Midseason predictions worth 100 points each were resolved in Gameweek 31,
and those answers mattered.
The first asked whether West Ham, after keeping just one clean sheet in their first 24 league matches,
would finish the remaining 14 games with 2 or fewer clean sheets or 3 or more.
The community was almost split straight down the middle, with 52% backing 2 or fewer and 48% backing 3 or more,
but the correct answer turned out to be 3 or more.
The second 100-point question was about whether any team would finish the season with
15 or more draws.
Here the community leaned much more heavily towards No, with 68% taking that side and only 32% backing Yes.
In the end, the correct answer was Yes as Bournemouth have amazingly drawn their last 5 games in a row and 7 of their last 10.
Those two midseason questions are a reminder that big swings can still arrive from outside the weekly set,
and when 100-point answers start landing this late in the season, they can give certain campaigns a very timely boost.
And finally, there is the wooden spoon.
That unwanted honour goes to I PREDICT DEEZ TINGS,
who finished on 0 points after getting all 6 of their 50-point predictions wrong.
A brutal week, no dressing that up, and one they will want to leave behind very quickly before the new Super Sevens starts.

🏆 Competitions Update

Predicted It Cup – Semi-Finals, Leg 1
The semi-finals got underway in Gameweek 31, and both first legs have left us with plenty to watch going into GW32.
Neither tie is officially done yet, but one side in each match-up has given themselves a real advantage heading into the decisive second leg.
ARCTICUS vs SKY BLUE BLUES
Leg 1: ARCTICUS 201 – 51 SKY BLUE BLUES
Leg 2: ARCTICUS 0 – 0 SKY BLUE BLUES
ARCTICUS have put themselves in a very strong position here.
A 150-point lead after the first leg is no small cushion at this stage of the Cup,
and it means SKY BLUE BLUES need something special in GW32 to turn it around.
We have already seen SKY BLUE BLUES pull off one famous comeback in the knockout rounds,
so the tie is not dead, but the pressure is firmly on them now.
LEAVE MY ARSELONA vs THE DELGANY SHARKS
Leg 1: LEAVE MY ARSELONA 200 – 151 THE DELGANY SHARKS
Leg 2: LEAVE MY ARSELONA 0 – 0 THE DELGANY SHARKS
This one feels much tighter.
LEAVE MY ARSELONA have the edge after winning the first leg by 49 points,
but that is still a manageable gap for THE DELGANY SHARKS to chase down in Gameweek 32.
It is the kind of semi-final where one big call going against the crowd could swing the whole tie,
so this one still has a lot of life in it.
Gameweek 32 will complete the second leg of both semi-finals, and by the end of it we will know our
Predicted It Cup finalists. One tie looks like it needs a comeback, the other looks set up for a nervy finish,
so there is plenty on the line before the final even arrives.

Super Sevens – Final Edition Begins Now
The final Super Sevens competition of the season starts in Gameweek 32 and will run all the way to Gameweek 38.
This is the last time this season that everyone gets to begin from scratch in a short-format race.
Only the 50-point and 75-point predictions count, which means consistency will be everything,
and with a prize on offer for the winner, there is every reason for teams all across the table to attack this one properly.

Season Gauntlet – Pressure Building at the Top
H-N HAM FIGHTERS still lead the Season Gauntlet on 8,354,
and they remain the team everybody else is chasing.
But the lead is far from comfortable.
DE LIGT MY BALLS are second on 8,075,
which leaves the gap at just 279 points,
while ARCTICUS are right there as well on 8,052,
only 302 points off top spot.
That is close enough that one big Gameweek, or one big late-season question, can change the whole picture.
Just behind the top three, THE DELGANY SHARKS sit fourth on 7,910 and
AN A CORSE CELTIC 🤟🤤 are fifth on 7,849.
Then comes CUNHA BELEBA!? on 7,695 and
RATHFARNHAM RATS on 7,648.
They are not out of it at all, especially with valuable questions still to be settled,
but they do need momentum soon if they want to put real pressure on the top three.
The chasing pack still has enough quality to keep things interesting too.
MOORE-4-2 are on 7,502,
SEVILLA EURO KING and LEAVE MY ARSELONA are both on 7,427,
and 2INAROW sit just behind on 7,346.
That group will know they need a charge, but with the table still shifting and knockout football adding more pressure elsewhere,
there is definitely room for another twist.
It is also worth noting that some of the leaders are getting there in very different ways.
H-N HAM FIGHTERS lead the way overall with 137 correct predictions,
while ARCTICUS are close behind on 134 and
THE DELGANY SHARKS have 132.
DE LIGT MY BALLS and AN A CORSE CELTIC 🤟🤤 both sit on 128.
Those totals underline that the teams at the top are not there by accident — they have been consistently landing answers across the full season.
The biggest warning sign for everyone around the summit is that there are still meaningful points out there to be claimed.
We have just seen two 100-point midseason questions resolved in Gameweek 31, and that is a reminder that the Gauntlet can still lurch suddenly rather than move gradually.
With more points still available and the run-in getting shorter, every correct answer now carries extra weight.
The leader is still in front, but nobody in the top group can afford to relax.
