📰 Gameweek 28 News

Gameweek 28 questions have been posted, and the deadline, as always, is kick off of the first game, which this week is 8:00pm on Friday 27th February.

⚽ Gameweek 27 Review

GW27 gave us one of those weeks where a single team just dominates the Gameweek — and this time it was ManlyChestHair Utd. 6/6 on the 50-point questions for a perfect 300 and, with it, their first trophy of the season: a Silver Gameweek. That’s the type of performance everyone remembers — flawless reads, no panic.

The chase pack weren’t far behind, and it was the 75-point swings that decided the next few places. 2inarow hit 275 (4 correct 50s + 1 correct 75) to take second, while Moore-4-2 posted 250 with 5 correct 50s. Predicted It Admin1 also used a 75 to climb onto 225 for fourth. On weeks like this, landing that one extra 75 is the difference between a headline finish and getting lost in the crowd.

After that, it was a tight cluster on 200: De Ligt My Balls, Bandwagonesque, Arcticus — all with 4 correct 50s. And then the 150 pack was stacked as well, with a lot of teams sitting at 3 correct 50s. It’s the kind of table that tells you the overall standard is high… but only a handful actually hit a clean run.

The other big headline: H-N Ham Fighters finally had a hiccup. After leading the Season Gauntlet for what feels like forever, they could only manage 50 points in GW27. It doesn’t end their season — but it absolutely invites the chasing pack to start believing.

🏆 Competitions Update

Super Sevens: Final Gameweek (GW28) – EVERYTHING still live

This is the big one: GW28 is the final Gameweek of Super Sevens, and it’s properly set up for a finish. The key thing to remember is how this format bites: the 75-point questions can swing the table in a single hit, but to make them count as much as possible you still need to keep banking the 50s. That’s why the very best teams sit at the top — they’re not just chasing fireworks, they’re stacking points every single week.

Right now, De Ligt My Balls lead on 1,332 (22 correct 50s, 3 correct 75s), but Arcticus are right there on 1,280 (21 correct 50s, 3 correct 75s). That’s a 52-point gap going into the final week — basically one big call, one bonus swing, or one missed 50.

And it gets even spicier behind them: Moore-4-2 are third on 1,232, The Mighty Duck are fourth on 1,207, and 2inarow are fifth on 1,180. That whole group is close enough that a strong final week can completely reshuffle the podium.

Don’t ignore the rest of the top ten either: The Delgany Sharks (1,157), Ctrl Alt De Ligt (1,132), An A Corse Celtic 🤟🤤 (1,106), Bandwagonesque (1,103), and H-N Ham Fighters (1,082). With this scoring, there are still at least 900 points to be decided when the remaining 75s get determined. If you’re in that pack, you’re still in this.

One more reminder: the 1st place winner gets to choose from a variety of Hampers listed on the competition page. Final week. It’s all to play for.

Predicted It Cup: Last 16 – Leg 1 scores are in

The Cup is now in full knockout mode and Leg 1 gave us exactly what we wanted: tight ties, a couple of early statements, and loads of work still to do in GW28. Remember: it’s total points across both legs that decides who advances — so nobody is safe, but a big first-leg lead is real breathing room.

SKY BLUE BLUES 150 – 50 SEVILLA EURO KING
Sky Blue Blues came out swinging and put a serious gap on a team who’s usually rock-solid. Sevilla need a proper response in Leg 2.
THE MIGHTY DUCK 100 – 0 I PREDICT DEEZ TINGS
The Mighty Duck have one foot through already. I Predict Deez Tings need a big week just to make it interesting.
BANDWAGONESQUE 200 – 200 DE LIGT MY BALLS
Dead level after Leg 1 — and it feels right. De Ligt My Balls bring the Super Sevens lead, Bandwagonesque bring the chaos. Winner takes Leg 2.
TK PREDICTIONS 150 – 250 MOORE-4-2
Moore-4-2 land the first punch and take a strong lead. TK Predictions still have a route back, but they need the big calls in GW28.
AN A CORSE CELTIC 🤟🤤 100 – 100 CTRL ALT DE LIGT
Another tie sitting perfectly balanced. Two quality teams, no separation yet — Leg 2 decides everything.
2INAROW 200 – 150 LEAVE MY ARSELONA
2inarow edge it and take a narrow lead — but that’s a single correct prediction in Leg 2. Arselona are right in this.
DYNAMO CHICKEN KIEV 100 – 100 THE DELGANY SHARKS
Level pegging. Dynamo have the fighting spirit, Delgany have the Cup history — this is set up beautifully for GW28.
H-N HAM FIGHTERS 50 – 200 ARCTICUS
Big statement from Arcticus, and a rough leg for Ham Fighters after that GW27 hiccup. Still not done — but Ham Fighters need a monster Leg 2.

📈 Season Gauntlet Update

The Season Gauntlet lead is still held by H-N Ham Fighters on 7,226, but the gap is slowly closing — and GW27 is a big reason why. After that 50-point stumble, the door is open, and the teams behind them have started stepping forward.

De Ligt My Balls are now second on 7,048, only 178 points back. That’s a very catchable gap at this stage — especially with big-value questions still in play. Arcticus are third on 6,949 and The Delgany Sharks fourth on 6,905. That trio are all in striking distance if the leader drops another week.

A huge shoutout to the teams in strong form just behind them: Sevilla Euro King (5th, 6,651) and An A Corse Celtic 🤟🤤 (6th, 6,596) are keeping the pressure on and refusing to let the top four breathe. And right there too: Cunha Beleba!? are seventh on 6,594 — still very much in the mix after that earlier wobble.

The mid-table battles are savage as well. 2inarow are eighth on 6,543 and Moore-4-2 ninth on 6,525 — basically level. Those two are also right at the sharp end of Super Sevens and deep in the Cup, so they’ve got momentum everywhere right now.
