📰 Gameweek 26 News

Gameweek 26 questions have been posted, and the deadline, as always, is kick off of the first game, which this week is 7:30pm on Tuesday 10th February.

⚽ Gameweek 25 Review

GW25 had a bit of everything: big scores at the top, 75-point swings, and another reminder that no one gets a quiet week in this game. The headline is a three-way tie for first on 352 points.

De Ligt My Balls, Moore-4-2 and Arcticus all landed the same big score with 4 correct 50s and 2 correct 75s. That’s the kind of Gameweek all the others wish they had!

Right behind them, The Mighty Duck posted 278, while Team Name Taken and The Delgany Sharks both hit 277. Add in I Predict Deez Tings, Ctrl Alt De Ligt and Sevilla Euro King all on 277 too, and you can see how tight the margins were.

Even lower down, you still had teams landing 202 with 4/6 on the 50s, and the lowest score was 101. The baseline across the league is high right now, which is exactly why GW26 matters.

🏆 Predicted It Cup & Super Sevens

Predicted It Cup: Final Qualification Round (GW26) – Hold your nerve

This is it: GW26 is the final qualification round for the Predicted It Cup. It’s still 50-point questions only, and after GW26 we take the top 16 into the knockout draw. One last set of six questions to decide who’s in, who’s out, and who’s left watching.

At the top, Ctrl Alt De Ligt have been relentless and lead on 907. They’ve put a gap between themselves and the pack, but it’s very tight between the group chasing them: The Delgany Sharks, The Mighty Duck and H-N Ham Fighters are all tied on 807. That’s a serious platform, and it sets them up nicely for the knockouts if they finish the job in GW26.

The real drama is the qualification line. Right now, 15th is Moore-4-2 on 607, and 16th is I Predict Deez Tings on 605. That’s just a 2-point gap. The teams hunting them down are right on the shoulder. ManlyChestHair Utd and Allison Wonderland are both on 554, and Bandwagonesque is on 553. That gap to 16th is only 51–52 points, which is basically one strong GW26. If any of those three hit 4/6 (or better) and the current cutoff teams have a quiet week, we could see a late overtake.

There’s also a tight scrap just outside that chasing trio. Free Estate Kenmare, Blasters FC and SweeperVision are all sat around the mid-400s range. They’ll need a huge GW26 plus help elsewhere, but we’ve already seen 250+ weeks in this qualification run, so the door isn’t completely closed.

Super Sevens: The 75s have arrived

Super Sevens is starting to show its own personality now because the 75-point questions are landing. That’s why the table has started to split away from the Cup standings. Right now, Ctrl Alt De Ligt lead the way with 982 and have already hit 1 correct 75.

The next few places show you exactly how important the 75s are: De Ligt My Balls are second on 907 with 2 correct 75s, while The Delgany Sharks and The Mighty Duck are tied on 882 with 1 correct 75 each.

With several Gameweeks still to go in this seven-week run, there’s plenty of time for swings, but the message is clear: once the 75s start hitting, the table can move quickly.

📈 Season Gauntlet Update

The Season Gauntlet is tightening at the top again, and the numbers show just how competitive the leading pack has been. H-N Ham Fighters still lead on 6,951, but the chasing group have kept the pressure on. The Delgany Sharks are second on 6,630, only 321 points back.

Third is now De Ligt My Balls on 6,623, just 7 points behind second. That’s a tiny gap in this format, and it matters because it turns every Gameweek into a direct head-to-head for that runner-up spot. Fourth place Arcticus are on 6,524, still within 106 points of second.

The top six remains packed with proven scorers. Cunha Beleba!? sit fifth on 6,444 and Sevilla Euro King are sixth on 6,376. From 2nd to 6th the spread is only 254 points, which is absolutely nothing over a few Gameweeks if one team hits a big run.

Seventh and tenth are another mini-league of their own. An A Corse Celtic 🤟🤤 are seventh on 6,271, Rathfarnham Rats are eighth on 6,247, Leave My Arselona ninth on 6,149, and 2inarow tenth on 6,118. These are the teams who can jump into the top six quickly with one strong scoring week.

A quick shoutout to the teams rising into the top half: Ctrl Alt De Ligt are up to 11th on 6,070, Moore-4-2 are 12th on 6,050, and Dynamo Chicken Kiev sit 13th on 5,973. There’s still a long runway in the season, and there are plenty of points left to be decided.
