Gameweek 20 – News, GW18 & GW19 Reviews + Season Gauntlet Update

Gameweek 20 questions have been posted, and the deadline, as always, is kick off of the first game, which this week is
12:30pm on Saturday 3rd January.
We’re now into a very busy holiday period with several Gameweeks coming in quick succession. Turnarounds will be tight, so it’s each user’s responsibility to check the site regularly and make sure your predictions are submitted in time for each deadline.

Gameweek 21 – 6th January, 8:00pm
Once we’re through this festive run, we’ll be launching some new competitions to kick off the second half of the season.
⚽ Gameweek 18 Review
Gameweek 18 was all about the pure 50-point grind. And one team absolutely nailed it.
🥈 Silver Gameweek belongs to Cunha Beleba!? with a flawless 6/6 on the 50s for 301 points.
That’s the perfect Gameweek card — and it’s exactly the kind of week that puts fear into the rest of the table.
Behind the winner it was ridiculously tight: Bandwagonesque, Sevilla Euro King and Arcticus
all finished on 251 with 5/6 — with The Delgany Sharks and An A Corse Celtic 🤟🤤
right there on 250. That’s a one-answer swing between 2nd and 6th.
The mid-table was stacked too: a run of teams landed 4/6 for around the 201 mark, including
I Predict Deez Tings, TK Predictions, Allison Wonderland,
Blasters FC and H-N Ham Fighters.
In a week like this, one extra correct 50 really mattered.
It wasn’t all good though! We also had another Wooden Spoon. Predicted It Admin1 finished on 0 (0/6).
Brutal — but that’s Predicted It. The only move is the bounce-back… and as you’ll see below, that bounce-back arrived immediately.
⚽ Gameweek 19 Review
If Gameweek 18 was the downfall, Gameweek 19 was the redemption arc.
Predicted It Admin1 went from 0 points in Gamweek 18 to top of the table in Gamweek 19 — hitting 5/6 for 253.
That’s how you respond. No sulking, no excuses — straight back in the fight.
The margins were razor thin too: De Ligt My Balls finished one point behind on 252, tied with H-N Ham Fighters on 252.
When the top three are separated by a point, you know the whole week was a scrap.
Then came another strong block: Bandwagonesque on 203, and a cluster around 201–202 featuring
The Mighty Duck, SweeperVision, Dynamo Chicken Kiev and Blasters FC.
Solid weeks everywhere — which is exactly why the overall season races stay so tight.
Plenty of teams landed around the 151–152 mark too, meaning the pack is still bunched — and with Gameweeks flying in, a single good week can change everything.
📊 Competition Updates
Season Gauntlet — Christmas Chaos, Table Tightening Up
There’s been a lot of action over the Christmas period and the Season Gauntlet is starting to feel properly tense now —
everyone is fighting for the top spots and the margins are shrinking.
H-N Ham Fighters currently lead on 5,466, but the pressure is immediate:
The Delgany Sharks are second on 5,120 and Rathfarnham Rats are right behind on 5,115.
That top three is packed — and it won’t take much to flip it again.
Then comes the next wave of contenders:
Cunha Beleba!? on 4,962,
An A Corse Celtic 🤟🤤 on 4,912,
2inarow on 4,911,
and Sevilla Euro King on 4,891.
That’s a serious group all within striking distance — and with another festive deadline around the corner, nobody can take a breath.
Big picture: we’re heading into the second half of the season with the Gauntlet still wide open.
One big Gameweek, one swing question, one perfect 6/6… and the whole table can change again.
